8.30am - school drop off
9 am - home, wolf down porridge and coffee
9.30am - swimming for JB
10am - head to Strathpine
10.30am - find some boots for JB to wear to the wedding tomorrow (did I mention that I am freaking out about how cold it might be?), check out prices on some potential future Christmas presents
11am - head to food court to have coffee with JB (a regular ritual)
11.15am - head to pumpkin patch and pick up the most gorgeous jacket for Caitlin for tomorrow
11.30am - head to woolies for a few groceries
11.45am - home
12 noon - lunch for JB, feed Asha, put away groceries, put on another load of washing, quick tidy of house
12.30pm - get Terry to put JB to bed while I feed Asha
12.45pm - try and get Asha to settle (as she hasn't had longer than 10 minutes sleep all day) but fail miserably
1.30pm - organise myself and kids to get back int he car and go to school (change shirt twice after Asha vomits copiously on it twice in 10 minutes)
2pm - get to school to participate in pirate afternoon activites with year 1s (ignore JB who goes off in a snit because he was grumpy after being woken up)
2.45pm - leave school without losing a child or getting run over (no mean feat)
3pm - home, afternoon tea for the older ones, get them changed, have a drink of water and feed Asha
3.45pm - leave for Skating afternoon with 1 Blue
4pm - Skating at Albany Creek - encouraging Caitlin (who did very well) wrestling JB (who just didn't get it really - he thought the whole idea was that the grown up pushes the wheelie child! Man did that hurt my back!), and kicking myself for not taking my camera (what kind of scrapbooker am I?)
5.45pm - home with screaming Asha and feeding her while Terry and the kids get fish and chips
6.30pm - dinner, interrupted by a screaming Asha (I told Terry not to take her when I had almost got her settled!)
7.45pm - emerge from Asha's darkened room where she has finally collapsed in an exhausted stupor (feeling pretty much the same way myself)
8pm - join Terry in getting kids to bed
8.10pm - finish dinner, get kitchen cleaned up and house generally tidy
8.40pm - SIT DOWN and fold washing, read emails and blog about my crazy busy day.
It probably doesn't sound that bad but when most of it was accompanied by the sound of Asha screaming because she was exhausted but refused to sleep, it seemed like an eternity. I think I am going to bed now :)
