Chicken news

Well some serious cuteness for you. Firstly - Asha LOVES the chickens. She has loved them since they were tiny and she not much bigger. "Kickies!" was the refrain. Well her latest is "Feedchookabread". Yep one word. She loves to feed the chooks at the moment - whether stale bread scraps (which she shares, feeding herself them at the same time), or their afternoon grain. Nowadays we can't feed them and leave them in peace around her, as she goes and gets their grain and throws it to them. Here are some pics.






Our other chicken news is taht we have new babies. Meet Ingham 2 and Baiada. WE wanted originally to have 4 chickens but after the loss of Ingham and having to get rid of Chicken Little, we were left with 3. Of course, you can't really get 1 on its own, so we got another 2 babies. It's so funny to watch them grow - it always surprises me to see them have different personalities, but they definitely do. Baiada is feisty and curious, Ingham 2 is peaceful, sleepy and placid. And they are SO CUTE.
