It's our anniversary today.
It was supposed to be a happy, romantic sentimental day.
What it was was spent in front of news broadcasts, taking in the news of the tragedy occurring in Victoria.
I have heard innumerable accounts of personal tragedy, loss, death and destruction. Each new story and statistic is like a kick in the guts. I've been reduced to tears a number of times today.
We've donated to the bushfire appeal. I'm too sad today to enjoy my anniversary. :(
